Jose Rosales, AIA, Associate
Born and raised in Del Rio, Texas, Jose Rosales watched his father, a brick mason, at work and was fascinated with how buildings fit together. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2004 and Masters of Architecture in 2008 from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and during this time he spent a semester of architectural study in Italy. Jose's work experience includes urban planning, residential and commercial office buildings, schools and churches. Since joining Jackson & Ryan Architects in 2012, Jose has worked on the design through construction administration of several projects, including the Strake Jesuit STEM building, renovations and additions at the St Luke’s United Methodist Church and is the project architect for a new Middle School Science Building. Jose enjoys the opportunities to work on all phases of a project, working closely with the talented principals, team members and great clients. For Jose, being an architect is extremely gratifying, he loves seeing his hard work materialize into a building that exceeds the client’s expectations. During his time off he enjoys puzzles, working out, running, being outdoors and spending time with his growing family - Dolores, Paloma and their dog Mobi.
